this week at sugar creek hollow it's all about VINTAGE FASHION, digi doodle an online digital stamp company supplied us with an amazing stamp to use, i absolutely love my image...i really tried to jump out of my comfort zone and lean towards some different colors, i tried to make the image really stand out by clear glazing her, i really like the effect...i used cosmo cricket papers, tea time... i cannot believe how fast this first month at sugar creek hollow has gone by and i have absolutely loved every minute...please check out the awesome work the ddesign team has put together...what a joy...

I had a bit of a hard time photographing her due to reflection but this glaze is amazing love the effect...it blends all the colors seamlessly..

glitz design has a whole new look to their blog and homepage, it's great you should really check it out they have some awesome designers and their projects are so inspirational... this month their challenge is all about women and how strong we are... all that we do for the one's we love and beyond... i absolutely love these papers and the bike reminds me of mom for some reason i think it's the basket with the flower's in it, it just reminds me of mom and day's gone by, i love these little flowers they absolutely match the ones on the paper, i reallly do love this card lots of memories and lots of fun...

I can't believe it's saturday already and a new challenge at sugar creek hollow, this week the challenge is all about tags, stand alone tags or tags on cards or whatever you can think of with a tag and that shabby vintage feel that lends itself to sugar creek hollow...

We have a wonderful digital stamp sponser this week...
I just love the images they create they are wonderful...i choose a bird just because i am really in love with birds lately...while vacationing in florida i went on a couple of bird expeditions and i became hooked on their beauty, they have some really beautiful birds in florida, i've been there many times and never noticed them...

a quick little mother's day card to share today... hope mom likes it along with the box of handmade cards i made her to go along with it...love these colors the papers are from girls paperie, the notebook circles are hand dyed just a little something fun to add for interest....
the big cabbage rose is handmade just love making these blooms they are so much fun....

Last nite i was reading a blog post about motherhood and how special it was...that post touched my heart... i feel so very blessed to have been able to have three beautiful daughters, although it's been tough i thank god each day for them...i wish things had gone differently, that i had been blessed with a wonderful marriage and husband but that was not the case...i have struggled for 25 years raising my girls, wishing it had been different without really seeing how wonderful and blessed i was...it's my hope and dream that i can move beyond the past and love each and every day as it is...a gift... every child is so amazing, so beautiful and such a gift and childhood memories should always be a blessing....as tears fill my eyes i remember each of my little beauties catching butterflies, riding bikes and soaking in every minute of a summer's day...

I am so very excited and honored to be designing with the wonderful group of talented ladies at sugar creek hollow, I have always been in love with this challenge blog, they have some awesome challenges and the inspiration from these girls is amazing...

This week the challenge is black and white with a focus color... my focal color is cream... I absolutely love these embellies from pink paislee's london market line they are so shabby and vintage... the papers i used are from webster's pages new great travels and in love..
